Italian Skillet Chicken with Tomatoes and Mushrooms

Italian-inspired cooking pan chicken. straightforward malformation direction boiled in vino with tomatoes and mushrooms! prepared in thirty minutes or less!




INGREDIENTS


  • 4 massive chicken cutlets (boneless skinless chicken breasts remove 1/4-inch skinny cutlets)
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano, divided
  • 1 tsp salt, divided
  • 1 tsp black pepper, divided
  • 1/2 cup general flour, additional for later
  • Private Reserve additional Virgin vegetable oil (buy here)
  • 8 oz Baby Bella mushrooms, cleaned, trimmed, and sliced
  • 14 oz grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp cut recent garlic
  • 1/2 cup vino
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed juice (juice of one/2 lemon)
  • 3/4 cup stock
  • Handful baby spinach (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS


  • Pat chicken cutlets dry. Season on either side with 1/2 tbsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Coat the chicken cutlets with the flour; dirt off excess. put aside in short.
  • Heat a pair of tbsp vegetable oil during a massive forged iron cooking pan with a lid like this one. Brown the chicken cutlets on either side (3 minutes or so). Transfer the chicken cutlets to a plate for currently.
  • In the same cooking pan, add additional vegetable oil if required. Add the mushrooms and saute in short on medium-high (about one minute or so). Then add the tomatoes, garlic, the remaining 1/2 tbsp oregano, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper, and a couple of tsp flour. Cook for an additional three minutes close to, stirring frequently.
  • Now add the vino, cook in short to scale back simply a little; then add the juice and stock.
  • Bring the liquid to a boil, then add the chicken back within the cooking pan. Cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes, then scale back the warmth to medium-low. cowl and cook for an additional eight minutes or till the chicken is absolutely boiled and its internal heat registers a minimum of one hundred sixty five degrees F.
  • If you prefer, stir during a few baby spinach simply before serving. fancy hot along with your favorite little food like pasta and a crusty Italian bread!

  • Recommended for this Recipe: personal Reserve Greek additional virgin vegetable oil (from organically full-grown and processed koroneiki olives)
